Carbón Steak House in Quindio

"The entire experience at Carbon was fantastic. Our waitress Nikole was an outstanding waitress. After welcoming us in she gave us menu's and right away asked if I wanted her to provide water for my 8 week old puppy. She was not only an awesome waitress but she is also English speaking making ordering easy and pleasent for us non Spanish speakers. Both the onion rings and the Hamburger were the best I have had in Colombia. Last night I had a Mexicana burger and I enjoyed it so much I returned today and tried the Philadelphia burger. I look forward to retuning. I think I will try the Carbon burger next. With the onion rings of course. Upon returning today everything was still delicious. The Carbon Burger w/ jalapenos, the Amazing Onion Rings and of course the chicharrones. I look forward to my next meal here."

"First thing I gotta mention is, the place is made out of shipping containers. Leaving that aside... Place looks nice, we ordered fried calamari but it was more fries than calamari, I do not recommend it, it's expensive for just 5 calamari breaded rings. They brought beforehand the salad wich was unbeatable cause of the apple vinaigrette they use was too much, flavor was too strong,and the mash potato, wasn't good, it was dry as fudge and by the time we got the steak (half an hour later) the mash was cold. The steak was beautiful, the temperature was exactly what I asked for. Overall, since it's a new place they gotta get better, also they gotta up the security, a week after we visited this place, one of the cars at the parking got robbed, somebody broke in and stole stuff. If you go to this place, park your vehicle as close to the building as you can so you can keep an eye on it."

"This is a new restaurant on Avenida Centenario, it's constructed of containers with 2 floors , the servers were attentive and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, first breakfast came with juice, hot drink, and fresh fruit. I ordered the callous de.costilla de res, best taste in Armenia so far. Hubby ordered calentado and it came with a piece of steak, it was tender, not expecting that. Definitely will go back again."
